摘要
众所周知,古代中国对世界文明做出了杰出贡献,但是近代科学没能在中国诞生。核心原因在于科技中心的转移使中国失去了世界科技中心的地位。自明朝后期,中国几乎中断了与其他文明尤其是西方工业文明的交流。相反的,欧洲国家在希腊和罗马文明的基础上广泛吸收了中国、阿拉伯、印度等文明的精华,成为世界的科技中心,创造了基于现代科学的工业文明。通过剖析世界科技中心的转移过程,总结出其发展规律,以此对中国未来科技发展做出预测。
It is well known that ancient China had made outstanding contributions to world civilization, but the fact is that modern science was not born in China. The core reason lies in that the transfer of science and technology center makes China lose its leading position gradually. Since the late Ming dynasty, China has almost ceased communication and exchanges with other civilizations, especially western industrial civilizations. On the contrary, European countries, based on Greek and Roman civilizations, have widely absorbed the essence of Chinese, Arab and Indian civilization on modern science and created the industrial civilization based on the modern science, and finally become the center of science and technology. By analyzing the transfer process of the world science and technology center, this article hereby summarized the rule of its development, and attempted to make scientific predictions for China’s future development of science and technology.
