摘要 When compared with Zhou Gucheng of Fudan University,Wu Yujin of Wuhan University and Lin Zhichun of Northeast Normal University, all of whom have been known as the critical pioneering historians of world history studies in China in second half of the 20th century because of their academic achievements in intellectual and theoretical construction about World History as a discipline,Ding Zemin(丁则民,1919—2001)was a silent pioneer because he had no equally well received theoretical articles or books in this field.
