The outstanding traditional Chinese culture is the root and moral essence of socialist core values while the latter promotes and develops the former to a higher level.Incorporating the fine traditional culture into the education of socialist core values helps to enhance the self-confidence,humanistic quality and moral level of the higher vocational college students.Ways to achieve this goal include making innovations in publicity carriers,carrying out social practice,intensifying ideological and political theories teaching in all courses,encouraging paragons of virtue and publicizing their exemplary deeds,and valuing Chinese traditional festival culture.
