全英文法律教学的经验、困难与发展探索——北京理工大学法学院实践的个案分析

Experiences, Difficulties and Development Exploring of Law——Teaching in English Language

当代法律职业发展、法学院实践教学、国内学生深造以及招收国外留学生等的需要都使全英文法律教学具有必要性。当前法学院教师整体国际化素质的提升、国外教授来访增多、学生的英语水平不断提高等都使得全英文法律教学具有可行性。作为全国最年轻的法学院之一,北京理工大学法学院从2014年开展全英文教学,在师资配置、教学安排、听课对象组织等方面积累了一些经验,但同时也面临一些困难:从教师方面而言,主要包括某些教学资料准备困难、授课经验不足、教学效果不够理想等问题。就学生方面而言,主要包括口语训练不足、本科阶段法律英语接触不多、国外法律制度了解少等问题。未来全英文法律教学的发展应探索建立"以本国教师为主,外聘教师为辅"的教学师资发展思路、扩大全英文教学的对象范围、增加全英文教学的课程与课时数量、完成对全英文法律教学资料的整理与汇编以及对全英文法律教学进行模式创新与智能化开拓。

The development of legal profession,the practical teaching in law school,the need of further studies of the students domestically and international students enrolling make it necessary to teach law in English language.At present,the promotion of the international natures of teachers in law school,frequency of visit of foreign professors to China,the promotion of level of English of the students make it feasibility to teach law in English language.As the youngest law school,the Law School of BIT has some experiences in "Law-teaching in English Language".However,we still have some difficulties:as for the teachers,including the difficulties of teaching material preparation,lack of teaching experiences and the no-ideal effect;as for the students,mainly including lack of oral English training,lack touch of legal English in graduate study phrase,less knowledge of foreign laws.In the future,for the development of law-teaching in English language,we should establish the thread of thought of team of teacher of China mainly and the foreign teacher as complement,enlarge the domain of object of law-teaching in English language,add the lessons and times of the law-teaching in English language,complete the edition of teaching materials of law-teaching in English language,and process the mode creation and intelligent reform.
