美国国会图书馆、日本国会图书馆、日本內阁文库、上海图书馆及中国中医科学院图书馆各藏有一部金陵版《本草纲目》,虽然都是金陵版,但在印刷质量方面还是有些差异的.这五个藏本,有四个是版损后的印本,只有一个是完版印本,且有的本子有重印页,有的却出现空白页.

There is a Jinling edition of Compendium of Materia Medica in the Library of Congress of America, the Library of Congress of Japan, the Cabinet Library of the Japanese Public Library, the Shanghai Library and the Library of the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Although all of them are Jinling editions, there are still some differences in the quality of printing. Of the five books, four are printed copies, and only one is printed. Some books have reprinted pages, and some have blank pages. This is the significance of this book.
