The ancient tea-ship road originated in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, and formed a unique international trade channel for exporting Wuzhou Liubao tea. With tea as the medium, ship as the main carrier, and more than 10,000 kilometers of shipping lines as the link, this water transport channel has continuously promoted the prosperity and development of countries and regions along the route for hundreds of years. The formation and development of this transport channel has experienced a long process;it was an inside-out, gradually from the inside to the outside of the progressive mode. The peak of its development in history was accompanied by the large-scale development of southeast Asia, as well as the trend of Chinese laborers in the southeast coastal areas of China "going to the south of the sea", which has deeply affected the daily living habits and social consumption demands of residents in countries and regions along the route. The excavation and research of the ancient tea-ship road is of great historical significance to understand China's cultural exchanges and development process with foreign countries from multiple perspectives and levels.
