This paper introduces the connotation of financial management informationization and the present situation of financial informationization construction in scientific research institutes, and puts forward some reflections for improving the financial informationization construction of scientific research institutes, including defining the responsibilities of leaders and specific staff at all levels, training professional informationization talents, completing the design of software and hardware as well as network system, perfecting the informationization system of financial management, and ensuring the system, and strengthening the propaganda of financial information system to create a good operating environment.
