A Brief Introduction to the History of Petroleum Industry Development in the United Arab Emirates

阿联酋是一个石油储量极为丰富的国家,石油工业在其国民经济中占有极其重要的地位。在组成阿联酋的七个酋长国中,除了阿布扎比与迪拜石油资源丰富外,其余几个酋长国的石油储量都非常有限。以历史时间的顺序为脉络,以标志性历史事件为转折点,分析了阿联酋石油工业不同发展阶段的状况和特点。研究表明,即便是石油资源丰富的国家,其石油工业仍受国际因素的影响而起伏变化。

The United Arab Emirates is a country with abundant petroleum reservoirs,and its petroleum industry takes an important role in its national economy.Among seven emirates which constitute the UAE,apart from Abu Dhabi and Dubai who possess rich petroleum resources,the other emirates have very limited petroleum reservoirs.With historical time sequence as the thread,and with symbolic historical events as the turning points,the paper analyzes the status and characteristics of UAE petroleum industry at different stages.The research shows that even if these countries have rich petroleum resources,their petroleum industries are still affected by international factors and have fluctuation changes.
