摘要
通过调研辽宁省各大高校的校园英语标识语翻译的情况,阐述了校园内英语标识语的类型、特点,总结了其存在的问题,根据《公共服务领域英文译写规范》和“信、达、雅”的翻译原则,对校园标识语翻译提出了一些看法。
Based on investigating the campus English signs' translations in universities of Liaoning Province,the paper expounds the types and characteristics of campus English signs,summarizes the problems found in campus. According to "Guidelines for the Use of English in Public Service Areas" and the translation theory of "Faithfulness","Expressiveness" and "Elegance",the writer offers comments on the signs' translation.
