Preliminary Study on Transportation Inscriptions in the Context of Ancient Chinese Agricultural Society——Centered on Inscriptions in Shaanxi

在中国传统农业社会中,道路交通的发展对于土地开发、移民垦荒、水利设施建设等都具有重要的意义。陕西在中古时期农业社会中具有重要的地位和影响,陕西现存大量碑刻中,有相当数量涉及历代道路交通和物资运输的发展和变化,这些碑刻资料对于考察研究中古时期交通事业与农业社会的发展、关联和影响等问题具有重要意义。

In the traditional agricultural society of China, the development of transportation was of great significance for land development, resettlement and reclamation, and water conservancy facilities construction. Shaanxi had an important position and influence in ancient Chinese agricultural society. Many of the currently conserved inscriptions in Shaanxi are related to the development and changes of ancient traffic and transportation. These data are of great significance for the study on the development, relationship and influence between transportation and the agricultural society in ancient China.
