A certain large open pit mine is located in high mountain area,the site selection of concentrator becomes a difficult problem,because of narrow valley and steep terrain. In the actual process of site selection,several schemes have been analyzed and demonstrated in detail,from the aspects of topographic utilization,general plan of mines,material transportation,economic benefits and other aspects,combined with the characteristics of the project. Finally,a suitable site plan is obtained.
