萨德伯里山谷学校教师管理策略管窥

An Investigation Into Teacher Management Strategies at Sudbury Valley School

摘要 教师是影响学校办学质量提升的重要因素。萨德伯里山谷学校推行富有特色的教师管理理念、思路和措施,包括建立理事会、司法委员会、议会等管理机构,探索自主导向的教师管理机制的完善;构建民主、平等、自由的教师专业活动空间,保障教师教学工作的自主权,激发教师工作主动性、积极性;把拟聘教师对学校的兴趣与价值认同作为教师聘任的重要条件,规范教师聘任工作。这些富有成效的教师管理实践,为我国中小学创新师资管理工作提供启示。 Teaches play an important role in the improvement of school quality. The management philosophy and measurement of Sudbury Valley School are extraordinary from the following perspectives. Firstly,the school has established management organization,such as,the school council,judicial committee,assembly,and explored the self-directed teacher management mechanism. Secondly,an activity space of democracy,equality and freedom has been constructed to motivate and ensure teachers’ antonomy in teaching. Thirdly,candidates’ interests in and value identification of the school are reckoned as essential conditions in the process of normative engaging. The effective practices of teacher management in the school can provide some enlightment for primary and secondary schools in China.
