摘要 Human beings are endowed with free will when they are created.Like free will,reason is also a divine gift endowed by God.Based on the epic,this article aims to analyze the pure reason of Adam and Eve in Paradise Lost before they fall and Eve's fall due to abuse of free will in the absence of reason.It is found that reason plays a vital part in man's free choice.And humankinds can be truly free when they choose the good under the guidance of reason.
