国际新闻编译中的译者主体意识及语言操控

The Translator’s Subjectivity and Language Manipulation in International News Trans-Editing

国际新闻既具时效性,又具政治性。新闻编译者在编译过程中不可避免地会融入本民族意识形态和社会价值观,对原语文本进行改写和语言操控以树立和维护所代表国家的国际形象,同时减少和消除敌对国在新闻报道中的诋毁、抹黑甚至攻击,减少由偏见和不实新闻报道所引起的负面影响。文章探讨了国际新闻编译者的主体意识及素养要求并以《参考消息》和《澎湃新闻》涉华新闻编译报道为语料,分析编译者在双语转换过程中如何发挥主体意识对原语文本进行适当调整和对语言进行柔性操控,重新建构符合译语读者叙事范式和期待的新闻现实。

International news is timely and political. Integrating their own national ideology and social values into the works, the news trans-editors rewrite and manipulate the source texts and languages in order to maintain and enhance the international image, eliminating the hostility in the news from adversaries and reducing the negative impact caused by biases and false news reports. The subjective consciousness and literacy requirements of the trans-editors were discussed based on the corpus of trans-editing news related to China in Reference News. An analysis was made on how the source texts were reframed under the influence of trans-editors’ subjective consciousness in the process of language transformation, and with the intention to reconstruct the news reality which was in line with the narrative paradigm and expectation of target readers.
