基于资源诅咒视角的环境污染与地区经济增长关系研究

Research on the Relationship between Environmental Pollution and Regional Economic Growth from the Perspective of Resource Curse

在理论分析基础上,以中国2000—2015年的省级面板数据为样本,从资源诅咒的视角对环境污染与地区经济增长的关系进行实证分析。研究结果表明:丰裕的自然资源地区开发自然资源会带来严重的环境污染,这说明资源诅咒在环境污染的角度是存在的;环境库兹涅茨曲线在中国省级数据上是存在的,并且数据显示我国的经济发展水平还处于环境库兹涅茨曲线的左端;工业化水平的提高是造成我国环境污染严重的重要影响因素之一,长期稳定的环境治理对环境质量的改善具有显著作用。研究结果对如何平衡环境污染与经济增长之间的关系,促进地区资源开发的有效利用与产业结构的升级提供了有益的政策启示。

Based on the theoretical analysis, we take the provincial panel data of China from the year of 2000 to 2015 as a sample to analyze the relationship between regional environmental pollution and economic growth from the perspective of resource curse. The results show that: The exploitation of natural resources in abundant natural resources areas will bring about serious environmental pollution, which indicates that "resource curse" exactly exists in the perspective of environmental pollution;The environmental Kuznets curve exists in Chinese provinces, and evidence shows that China's economic development level is still on the left side of it. The rising level of industrialization is one of the important factors that cause serious environmental pollution in China, and the long-term stable environmental governance has a significant effect on the improvement of environmental quality. The research results provide useful policy enlightenment for balancing the relationship between environmental pollution and economic growth, promoting the effective utilization of natural resources and upgrading of industrial structure.
