摘要 Kolb学习风格(或学习圈)理论自问世以来,在企业培训和教育教学领域得到广泛运用,然而极少研究将Kolb学习风格理论运用于英语公众演讲中。事实上,学习风格是公众演讲中重要的心理学特征,忽视演讲者本身和听众的学习风格而进行的演讲往往难以达到理想的传播交际效果。研究发现:按照Kolb学习圈模型进行听众分析,选择支撑材料和撰写演讲词,有助于各种学习风格的听众接收、理解和应用演讲所传递的信息,从而有效促进演讲交流,达到最佳演讲效果。 Kolb s Learning Style Theory has enjoyed wide application in the corporate training and the field of education, yet very few studies have addressed its application in public speaking in which learning style serves as an important psychological characteristic. Ignoring the speaker s own and the audience s learning style, the speech can hardly achieve a sound communication effect. It is found that analyzing listeners, selecting supporting materials and phrasing the speech on the basis of Kolb s learning circle can contribute to the listeners better reception, comprehension and application of the messages delivered, so as to achieve effective communication between the speaker and the listeners.
