美国大学课堂诗歌工作坊运作——以圣约翰大学为例 被引量:2

摘要 以圣约翰大学为例,美国大学课堂诗歌工作坊的运作包括选课条件、课程目标、考核标准、评论规则以及其他课程要求与规则的设置;讲授、自由发言讨论和圆桌式依次轮流评论工作坊两种课堂教学模式以及形式多样的课堂写作训练活动的开展等环节。贯穿美国大学本科诗歌工作坊运作最核心的原则就是对年轻学生进行全方位的诗歌创作灵感的激发、鼓励和保护,从而促成大量年轻诗人和诗歌读者的产生。而这正是当前美国诗歌复兴的重要表现和原因。中国大学可借鉴美国大学诗歌工作坊的运作经验,建设中文诗歌工作坊和英语诗歌工作坊。 The operation of poetry workshops in American universities, like St. John s University, includes the specification of requirements for course application, course objectives, assessment standard, comment rules, and other rules and principles, the adoption of the two class-teaching models of lecture-discussion and round-table workshop, and the implement of various in-class poetry writing training. The core principle running throughout the operation of poetry workshops is to trigger, encourage and protect the poetic inspiration of the undergraduates in every possible aspect, so as to create a large number of young poets and poetry readers in USA. This is the key momentum for the current renaissance of American poetry. Chinese universities should learn from the operation of poetry workshops in American universities to create our own Chinese poetry workshops and English poetry workshops.
