摘要
20世纪70年代以来,西方艺术研究中呈现出多元的研究态势。其中,T.J.克拉克以其艺术社会史研究方法为艺术史的研究提供了一种新模式。克拉克指出现代绘画是对现代生活的社会与政治条件的阐述,但他否定绘画可以直接表现“阶级”和“意识形态”,借助“传统惯例——绘画——对象”这个重要的三角结构,实现了对现代绘画与社会两者关系的考察。也正是借助这个三角结构,克拉克既维持住了其历史唯物主义的立场,同时又为现代艺术和艺术家的创造力与超越性提供了一个可以活动、发展的空间。
Since 1970s, multiplex research trends have been manifested in western art studies, among which, T. J. Clark provided a new method for the study of art history with the method of social art history. Clark pointed out that modern painting was the interpretation of social and political conditions of modern life;however, he denied that painting could directly reflect “social class” and “ideology”, and he completed the inspection of the relationship between modern painting and society with the triangular structure “traditional convention-painting-object”. Also, it is with the triangular structure, Clark has not only maintained the standpoint of historic materialism, but also provided the creativity and transcendence of modern artist & art with the developmental space.
