On Back-translation Strategies of Chinese American Literature from the Perspective of Translation Ethics: A Case Study of The Woman Warrior

华裔美国文学一直以来处于文学界的“边缘化”地位。直到20世纪70年代美国南北战争时期,随着华裔美国人的处境逐步得以改善,华裔美国文学在美国多元文化体系中才成为亚裔美国文学的一个重要分支。本文从翻译伦理视角出发,以《女勇士》为例,旨在探讨华裔美国文学的回译策略。

All this time, Chinese American literature is on marginal status of literary circle. Until the American Civil War in the 1970s, with Chinese Americans plight gradually improving, Chinese American literature is becoming an important branch of Asian American literature in American multicultural system. This paper takes The Woman Warrior as a case study to probe into the back-translation strategies of Chinese American literature from the perspective of translation ethics.
