直肠癌患者外周血中Galectin-3 mRNA、MUC1 mRNA的表达及临床意义

Expression and clinical significances of Galectin-3 mRNA,MUC1 mRNA in peripheral blood of patients with rectal cancer

目的探讨直肠癌患者外周血中Galectin-3 mRNA、MUC1 mRNA的表达及临床意义。方法选取直肠癌患者92例、直肠腺瘤患者31例以及健康对照组37例为研究对象,采用逆转录聚合酶链式反应(RT-PCR)检测受试人员外周血中Galectin-3 mRNA、MUC1 mRNA的表达,分析不同临床特征患者Galectin-3 mRNA、MUC1 mRNA的表达差异,探讨Galectin-3 mRNA、MUC1 mRNA的表达与患者预后的关系。结果直肠癌患者外周血Galectin-3 mRNA、MUC1 mRNA表达阳性率分别为63.0%和53.3%,显著高于直肠腺癌组和健康对照组(P<0.05),且Galectin-3 mRNA、MUC1 mRNA的表达与肿瘤分期、组织分化以及淋巴结转移有关(P<0.05)。Galectin-3 mRNA、MUC1 mRNA阳性患者的5年生存率显著低于阴性患者(P<0.05)。结论 Galectin-3 mRNA、MUC1 mRNA的表达与结肠癌的发生和发展密切相关,检测两种指标水平有助于对直肠癌患者预后评价。

Objective To investigate the expression and significance of Galectin-3 mRNA,MUC1 mRNA in peripheral blood of patients with rectal cancer. Methods 92 patients with rectal cancer,31 patients with rectal adenoma and 37 healthy persons were enrolled in this study. Expression of Galectin-3 mRNA and MUC1 mRNA in peripheral blood was analyzed by RT-PCR. The expressions of Galectin-3 mRNA and MUC1 mRNA in patients with different clinical characteristics were analyzed. The relationship between the expression of Galectin-3 mRNA and MUC1 mRNA and the prognosis of patients was investigated. Results The positive expression rates of Galectin-3 mRNA and MUC1 mRNA were 63.0% and 53.3%,respectively in rectal cancer patients,which were significantly higher than those in rectal adenoma patients and healthy persons(P<0.05). The positive expression of Galectin-3 mRNA and MUC1 mRNA was significantly correlated with tumor stage,tissue differentiation and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05). The 5 year survival rate of patients with positive expression of Galectin-3 mRNA and MUC1 mRNA was significantly lower than those with negative expression(P<0.05). Conclusion The expression of Galectin-3 mRNA and MUC1 mRNA is correlated with progression and metastasis of rectal cancer. Clinical examination of Galectin-3 mRNA and MUC1 is helpful for the evaluation of prognosis in patients with rectal cancer.
