Based on the perspective of Marx’s practical philosophy, the historical process of reform and opening-up is examined. One of the basic experiences of its continuous success is that it always insists on promoting theoretical innovation on the basis of the practice of reform and opening-up. Meanwhile, it always insists on using theoretical innovation originated from the practice of reform and opening up to guide the practical innovation. The historical process of reform and opening up presents a vivid situation in which theoretical and practical innovations resonate with each other and interact benignly, thus generating a strong driving force for the sustainable development of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The philosophical wisdom between theoretical innovation and practical exploration is of great guiding significance for us to enhance the consciousness of theoretical and practical innovation and to promote the process of reform and opening up in the new era towards the realization of the “Chinese dream” of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
