随着我国由交通大国向交通强国的演变,城市交通地位日益凸显其重要意义。城市交通规划结合研究片区出行人口、经济、不同性质土地之间的关系,分析地区未来交通发展需求,合理布局城市交通网络。道路工程设计在城市交通规划的基础上,进一步落实交通规划意图,使其真正意义上的为施工提供可靠的蓝图。城市交通规划与道路工程设计有着紧密的联系,却也在设计理念及技术等方面存在着较大差异,笔者就以城市交通规划与道路工程设计在理念及技术两方面展开浅易分析。
