Analysis on Investment Environment and Strategy in CPEC Construction

当前中巴经济走廊建设已取得突出进展,一批大项目纷纷启动并取得切实成效。但作为一项探索性实践,走廊建设中也遇到了一些问题,如遭到国外媒体不实指责、安保问题突出、巴方各政治势力博弈、我方在巴工作力量不足、印巴矛盾难以调节等。我们应对这些矛盾和问题高度重视,深入研究解决问题的对策办法,规避风险,推动走廊建设走深走实、行稳致远。

Currently, prominent progress has been made in China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) construction, and a series of big projects have been launched and have gained practical results. But, as an exploratory practice, the Corridor construction has encountered some problems, such as false accusations by foreign media, serious security issues, conflicting political powers in Pakistan, insufficient Chinese workforce in Pakistan, and irreconcilable India-Pakistan contradiction. We should pay high attention to these contradictions and problems, research into the strategy to solve the problems, avoid the risks, and promote the Corridor construction both in substance and depth for long-term stability and cooperation.
