Survey on present status of time management for new nurses

目的调查广西南宁某三级甲等医院新护士的时间管理现况,以期更好地对其进行指导,提高时间的利用率和有效性。方法采用新护士时间管理现况调查表对107名新护士进行调查,同时向84名带教老师发放带教老师对新护士时间管理现况评价表以间接评价新护士时间管理情况。结果新护士问卷调查结果:91%新护士表示对班内时间管理不了解,90%新护士表示迫切需要时间管理的理论培训及实践指导,93%新护士表示突发事件的发生会影响工作效率,94%新护士表示工作职责不熟悉导致工作质量下降,94%新护士表示希望与高年资护士搭班。带教老师评价结果:94%带教老师认为新护士不了解班内时间管理,94%带教老师认为应该给予新护士时间管理理论与实践指导,94%带教老师认为新护士工作质量欠佳与时间安排不合理有关,96%带教老师表示新护士与高年资护士搭班能提高新护士工作质量。结论新护士时间管理能力欠佳,应在入职培训中增加时间管理内容,同时在临床工作中重视时间管理ABC机制管理。

Objective To investigate the present status of time management for new nurses from a grade A class 3 hospital in Nanning and guide them to improve their utilization and effectiveness on time.Method Investigate 107 new nurses by questionnaire on present status of time management.Investigate 84 clinical teachers by questionnaire on new nurses’present status of time management to evaluate their time management status indirectly.Result Questionnaire for new nurses shows that 91%new nurses don’t know working time management well,90%new nurses need theory training and practical guidance urgently,93%new nurses’work efficiency will be affected by sudden events,94%new nurses have low work quality because they’re unfamiliar with their work duty,94%new nurses want to work with nurses with higher qualification.Questionnaire for clinical teachers shows that 94%clinical teachers feel new nurses don’t know working time management well,94%clinical teachers think new nurses need theory training and practical guidance,94%clinical teachers feel new nurses’low work quality is related to unreasonable time management,96%clinical teachers believe working with nurses with higher qualification can help improve new nurses’work quality.Conclusion New nurses lack time management ability.Content about time management can be added into pre-post training.Nursing managers should pay attention to ABC mechanism management in clinical work.
