摘要
本文在厘清学科和世界一流学科概念的基础上,通过师资力量、高层次人才培养、科研成果三个易显性特征识别出哈佛大学、芝加哥大学、麻省理工学院、普林斯顿大学拥有世界一流经济学科。基于它们在世界一流经济学科建设中的经验总结世界一流经济学科的非显性特征,阐释世界一流经济学科的实现路径,得出如下研究结论:(1)以国际视野为前提;(2)以培养高层次人才为核心目标;(3)以内涵式发展为根本路径;(4)以跨学科合作、国内/国际科研合作以及课程合作等三大合作为主要着力点。
On the basis of clarifying the concepts of disciplines and world-class disciplines, we identified four universities with world-class disciplines in economics: Harvard University, University of Chicago, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Princeton University, based on three observable indictors: faculty strength, cultivation of high-level talents, and scientific research achievements. By analyzing these universities’ experience in the construction of world-class disciplines in economics, this paper summarizes the inherent characteristics of world-class disciplines in economics, and explains the path to construct such disciplines. We draw the following conclusions:(1) taking the global perspective as the premise;(2) taking the cultivation of high-level talents as the core objective;(3) taking the connotative development as the basic routine;and(4) focusing on three types of collaboration: interdisciplinary cooperation, domestic and international scientific research cooperation, and curriculum cooperation.
