Internal Logic and Practice Path of Modern Economic Growth Theory

新的经济增长现象需要新的经济增长理论,经济增长理论在世界经济前行中不断发展。伴随着世界经济的兴衰起伏,一国经济增长的根本动力究竟是什么?不同经济发展水平的国家能否在长期中实现落后对先进的赶超进而经济发展水平趋同?这是经济增长理论一直试图予以回答的重要问题。经济增长理论从诞生之日起,距今已有二百多年的历史,历经沉浮变迁,可以从经济史和经济思想史的视角出发,系统梳理现代经济增长理论的起源流变,近而探寻现代经济增长的内在逻辑和实践路径,以试图阐释新的经济现象中的一般性规律,并借此提出现代经济增长理论未来可能的发展方向。

New economic phenomenon requires a new theory of economic growth. With the development of world economy, the theory of economic growth is also constantly moving forward. Along with the ups and downs of world economy, what is the fundamental driving force of economic growth in a country? Can countries with different levels of economic development achieve economic convergence in a long term? These are the important questions that economic growth theory has been trying to answer under the new phenomenon. Since its birth, the theory of economic growth has gone through ups and downs for more than 200 years, but it still has strong vitality, trying to explain the general law of the new economic phenomenon. The purpose of this paper is to systematically sort out the origin and evolution of modern economic growth theory from the perspective of economic history and history of economic thought, to explore the internal logic and practice path of modern economic growth, and put forward possible directions of modern economic growth theory for future development.
