Principle and Flexibility:A Historical Investigation on Chen Yun’s Agricultural Economic Thoughts(1961——1982)

陈云为农村改革作出了重要贡献。作为计划经济的重要领导者和主持者,陈云认为农业必须以计划经济为主,这是陈云农业经济思想的主要方面。但陈云也能务实地推动不适应农业发展的政策作出革命性的调整,体现了原则性和灵活性的统一。"经"与"权"的结合,既是陈云农业经济思想的重要特征,也在当时的历史条件下发挥了积极的作用。

Chen Yun was a prominent supporter of both "responsible field"and rural reform among China central leaders and also made important contributions to both of them. As a leader and supporter of planned economy,Chen Yun insisted that agriculture must follow the principle of planned economy,which was the main aspect of his agricultural economic thoughts. In spite of this,he also pragmatically facilitated revolutionary adjustment to policies inadaptive to the development of agriculture. This reflected the combination of principle and flexibility,which was the key characteristic of Chen Yun’s agricultural economic thoughts and played a positive role under that historical condition.
