There is now more space for collaboration between China and the EU in fighting hegemony and unilateralism and in maintaining a multilateral international order. In the EU, an unprecedented sense of crisis is leading to policy adjustments. In the same period that the EU must increase strategic independence, enhance cooperation with major powers and stabilize its international mechanism, China is actively participating in global governance construction and reform.
