文化差异视角下英汉法律语言翻译策略

English and Chinese Legal Language Translation Strategies from the Perspective of Cultural Differences

法律是由语言表述的社会行为标准,而社会行为标准来自于文化认同。有鉴于此,文化差异会对法律法规带来重要影响。基于这一认知,本文将首先对法律语言翻译的重要性进行分析。之后,将探究文化差异对中英法律观念及法律语言的影响。最后,将针对文化差异带来的影响,提出中英法律语言的翻译策略。

Law is a social behavior standard expressed by language,and social behavior standards come from cultural identity.In view of this,cultural differences can have a significant impact on laws and regulations.Based on this understanding,this paper will first analyze the importance of legal language translation.After that,we will explore the impact of cultural differences on Chinese and English legal concepts and legal language.Finally,the translation strategies of Chinese and English legal languages will be proposed for the influence of cultural differences.
