Influence of Temperature on Recovery Rate of Giardia and Cryptosporidium in Drinking Water

贾第鞭毛虫和隐孢子虫,都是可能在水中或其他介质中发现的原虫类寄生虫。这两种寄生虫均可导致霍乱样腹泻,为全球六大腹泻病之一。本文研究分析了温度对饮用水中两虫检测的影响。结果表明,环境温度越低,两虫回收率越高;环境温度一定时,降低样品的存储温度,也能提高两虫的回收率。

The Giardia and Cryptosporidium are protozoa parasites that may be found in water or other media.They can cause diarrhea like cholera,which is one of the six major diarrhea diseases in the world.The paper analyzes the effect of temperature on giardia and Cryptosporidium in drinking water.Results show that the lower the ambient temperature is,higher recovery rate of giardia and Cryptosporidium are.The recovery of these two parasites can also be improved by reducing the storage temperature of samples with same ambient temperature.
