车是我国民间常用的运载工具,其起源甚早,牛作为驾车的畜力出现在何时已无从稽考,但据传说在黄帝时代就已有牛车。牛车在汉代主要是民间的交通运载工具,是身份低贱者或平民百姓乘坐的车辆,牛车又是官方和民间运输笨重货物的交通工具,在社会生活中的用途也是十分广泛的。随着牛在人类生产、生活中的作用越来越明显,尤其是牛被广泛地应用于农耕生产之后,人们更崇拜牛,并视牛为农耕之神。

Car is a commonly used means of transport in our country.Its origin is very early.As a driving animal,cattle have been legendary since the Yellow Emperor’s time.Bullcart in the Han Dynasty was mainly a means of transport for the people.It was a vehicle for the humble or the common people.Bullcart was also a means of transport for the official and the folk transportation of heavy goods.It was also widely used in social life.With the increasing role of cattle in human production and life,especially after cattle are widely used in agricultural production,people worship cattle and regard cattle as the God of farming.
