摘要
中国英语能力等级量表界定了中国英语学习者和使用者的英语能力等级,描述了各个能力等级的表现特征,可供英语学习、教学等参考。本文从量表制定原则、理论框架、语用能力、认知能力、形成性评价等方面阐述了量表对英语教学的相关启示。基于量表的语言教学具有鲜明的特点和优势,以使用为导向,鼓励以学习者为中心的教学,强调循序渐进的能力进步,提倡实施形成性评价。
China’s Standards of English Language Ability(CSE) defines the English ability levels of Chinese English learners and users, describes the features of their English ability at each level, and provides reference for English learning and teaching. This paper attempts to bring together the CSE and English teaching in China in terms of the CSE’s principles and theoretical framework, pragmatic ability, cognitive ability, and formative assessment. English teaching based on the CSE shows its special features and obvious advantages by encouraging use-oriented and student-centered language teaching, positive attitude towards gradual progress, and formative assessment.
