This article chooses the story of "the real and false Monkey King" as the breakthrough point. Firstly,it points out its particularity and typicality in the theme of Journey to the West and the expression of the thought of "Combination of Three Religions". Then,it traces back to the origin,textual research and analysis of the two images of "six-eared macaque" and "The Monkey King" and their relationship. Finally,from the core point of view of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism,the symbolism,metaphor and hidden meaning of the image of "six-eared macaque" are explained. It also tries to solve the problem of how the plot character of "Six-eared macaque" reflects the core feature of the novel "Combination of Three Religions" in a small way.
