Objective: To provide a reference for carrying out related studies by sorting out the validity studies on wrist-wearable activity monitors for evaluation of physical activity parameters and summarizing all existing research results and progress. Methods:CNKI,PubMed,EMBASE,Google Scholar, and other databases were searched. After the initial screening, exclusion of repeated articles, the results of all studies were integrated and finally summarized. Results: As the results of studies are affected by various factors,wrist-wearable activity monitors exhibit errors when monitoring the parameters of different physical activities and distance, and quantifying the time spent on different intensities of physical activity. Conclusions: Wrist-wearable activity monitor devices have the poor accuracy on monitoring the different physical activity parameters as a whole,so we should interpret these research results in practical situation discreetly. In addition, there are many deficiencies in present studies, and these subjects require further in-depth studies.
