On C-E Translation Strategies of Government Texts Based on Functional Equivalence Theory——A Case Study of the Word "Behavior"

基于功能对等理论,政府工作报告中“行为”一词在不同语境下有着不同内涵,不可简单译为“behavior”,而应根据内涵和使用语境可分别译为:behavior,deed,conduct和省译,以规范“行为”一词在政府文本中英译形式。

Based on the functional equivalence theory,the word"behavior"in government texts existed in different connotations in different contexts that cannot be translated as"behavior"simply.It should be translated into behavior,deed,conduct or in neglected translation way according to the connotation and usage context,so as to standardize its English translation in government texts.
