摘要
伦敦大学学院Leedham博士最新出版的专著《中国学生的写作特点:基于语料库的分析》一书,使用语料库语言学和启动效应理论,对比分析了中国学生和以英语为母语的学生在写作上的差异。作者探讨了中国学生英文写作特点和存在问题,运用实证研究将写作理论与实践紧密结合起来,为二语写作研究者和英文写作教师提供了很好的范式。
Based on corpus linguistics and the lexical priming theory,professor Leedham’s new book-Chinese Students’Writing in English:Implications from a Corpus-driven Study-compares and analyses the differences between Chinese students and English native speakers in English academic writing.The author explores writing features and existing problems of Chinese students,combines writing theories and practices via empirical research,and provides a good model for researchers and teachers in the area of second language writing.
