摘要
与笔译相比,口译员面临更显著的时间压力、误译压力等。一些特殊领域的口译员还会面临公正压力、安全压力等。口译员须具备较强的情绪智力才能应对各种压力和负面情绪。当前我国翻译硕士专业学位(MTI)口译教学尚未对情绪智力引起重视,这将不利于学生口译认知能力和未来职业的发展。情绪智力理论能对我国MTI口译人才培养的选拔、课程设置、个性化教学、课堂教学、评价方式等诸多方面产生启示,能为培养职业化水平更高的专业译员作出一定的贡献。
Compared with translation,interpreters will confront more remarkable pressure from time and misinterpretation.Interpreters who work in some special fields will meet with huge stress from being just and safety.Interpreters must possess relatively strong emotional intelligence in order to cope with all sorts of stress and negative feelings.At present,emotional intelligence has not been valued by MTI teaching community in China and this will do harm to the development of students’interpreting cognitive abilities and their vocation.Emotional intelligence theory can shed some light on the talent cultivation of China’s MTI.China’s MTI education can benefit much from emotional intelligence in talent selection,curriculum provision,individualized teaching,classroom teaching,assessment method and so on.This new perspective can make some contribution to cultivating more professional interpreters.
