左心耳是心房颤动患者血栓起源的重要部位。左心耳封堵是预防心房颤动患者血栓栓塞事件的新方法。近年来,越来越多的左心耳封堵器械应用于临床,为左心耳封堵预防心房颤动卒中提供了循证医学证据。未来仍需不断优化左心耳封堵器械的研发,以进一步提高左心耳封堵的疗效和安全性。

Left atrial appendage is the most common site of thrombus formation in patients with atrial fibrillation. Left atrial appendage closure is a novel method for the prevention of thromboembolic events in patients with atrial fibrillation. During the past years, increasingly left atrial appendage closure devices have been used in the clinical practice, providing evidence for left atrial appendage closure. In the future, the optimization of left atrial appendage closure device design is needed to strengthen the efficacy and safety of left atrial appendage closure.
