市场化进程、R&D活动与中国高技术产业出口复杂度

Marketization Process,R&D Activities and the Export Complexity of China’s High-Tech Industries

高技术产业出口复杂度是衡量我国在全球价值链中所处位置的重要指标。在系统梳理了当前学界与高技术产业出口复杂度的测度及其影响因素相关文献基础上,采用1998-2014年的省级面板数据进行计量分析,测算了各地区高技术产业的出口复杂度,并使用两阶段最小二乘法实证分析了市场化进程和R&D活动对中国高技术产业出口复杂度的可能影响。研究发现:市场化进程以及R&D投入均对中国高技术产业的出口复杂度产生正向作用。在此基础上,分时间段做了稳健性检验,结果仍然成立。提出政策建议:加速市场化改革的进行,加大R&D投入,对于R&D人员投入进行调整,以综合地从整体上促进我国高技术产业出口复杂度。

The export complexity of high-tech industries is an important index to measure China’s position in the global value chain.On the basis of systematically reviewing the current literature on the measurement of export complexity of high-tech industries and its influencing factors, this paper uses provincial panel data from 1998 to 2014 to measure and analyze the export complexity of high-tech industries in different regions, and uses two-stage least squares method to empirically analyze the process of marketization and R&D activities and the possible impact on the export complexity of China’s high-tech industries. The study finds that the process of marketization and R&D investment have positive effects on the export complexity of China’s high-tech industries. On this basis, the robustness test has been done in different time periods, and the results are still valid. Policy suggestions including accelerating the market-oriented reform, increasing R&D investment, and adjusting R&D personnel investment are put forward for comprehensively promoting the export complexity of China’s high-tech industry as a whole.
