当代大学生社会主义核心价值观培育路径新探——基于湖南科技大学法管学院爱心助老志愿服务的考察

Exploration on a New Path to Cultivate Contemporary College Students’ Core Socialist Values:Based on Investigation into Volunteer Service for the Aged in the School of Laws and Public Administration,Hunan University of Science and Technology

“奉献、友爱、互助、进步、爱老”的助老志愿服务精神与社会主义核心价值观的本质要求具有内在统一性,有着重要的现实意义。湖南科技大学法管学院大学生志愿者注重老年群体,以回收废品自筹经费的方式长期开展爱心助老志愿服务,突出体现了“知行合一、行胜于言、落细落小落实”的社会主义核心价值观培育要求,引发了强烈舆论反响,已成为培育大学生社会主义核心价值观的新路径。要进一步以社会主义核心价值观为指导,在普及助老服务理念,优化细化助老服务内容上提升培育效果。

The spirit of “Dedication, Friendship, Mutual Aid, Progress,and Love for the Elderly” has the inherent unity with the spirit of volunteerism and the essential values of core socialist values, and is of great important practical significance. The volunteers of the School of Laws and Administration of Hunan University of Science and Technology pay attention to the elderly group, and carry out the long-term volunteer service to help the elderly by recycling waste products. This highlights the core socialist values of “integration of knowing and doing, winning in words, falling down and implementing”. The requirement of cultivating the core socialist values has triggered a strong public response and has become a new path to cultivate the core socialist values of college students. It is necessary to further use the core socialist values as a guide to improve the cultivation effect by popularizing the concept of helping the elderly and optimizing the content of the old-age service.
