金庸、二月河的武侠小说与历史小说创作,已分别构成20世纪华文创作的两个有意味的文学景观。因武侠小说和通俗历史小说题材领域的相近,又使二人作品的具体创作与传播,体现出某些共性,同时,亦因文类制约,以及二人各自的创作偏好及传播时代环境不同,二人作品创作与传播,亦有明显差异。二人作品创作与传播的成功,就大小文化传统交融的趋势来看,具有典范意义,也给当今文化建设如何激活历史资源,留下了丰富的启示。

Jin Yong’s martial arts novels and Eryuehe’s historical novels constitute two significant literary landscapes of Chinese novel writing in the 20th century. The works of the two novelists present some commonalities in their writing and popularizing due to the similarity in subject matter between martial arts novels and historical novels. But there are obvious differences in their writing and popularizing due to the limitations of the literary styles, their writing preference, and their different living time and environment. Their success in writing and popularizing is of exemplary significance in terms of the trend for the integration of large and small cultural traditions, giving enlightenment to today’s cultural construction by activating historical resources.
