With the rapid development of market economy in our country, the per capita material living standard has improved significantly, and the demand for mineral resources has been increasing at the same time of social progress, which has promoted the development of coal mining to a certain extent. In order to better meet the needs of the society for coal resources, coal mining efforts continue to increase, coal mining leads to the destruction of formation structure, serious soil erosion, and causes a series of geological disasters, endangering the safety of people's lives and property. In China, coal mining has been for several years, the geological environmental problems caused by coal mining are diversified, the most common geological environmental problems are coal mine geological disasters. Therefore, on the basis of coal mine geological disasters, this paper analyzes the characteristics of coal mine geological disasters in detail, and sums up several effective countermeasures for the prevention and control of coal mine geological disasters, so as to provide suggestions for the healthy and sustainable development of coal mine industry.
