摘要
在小说《离开麦肯齐先生之后》中,简·里斯试图让女主人公摆脱“介于狗与狼之间”的状态,实现“从狗变成狼”的蜕变,本文以此为例,剖析现代女性出走以后不得不面对的现实主义命题,深入解读女性主体意识的突围。本文通过文本细读、精神分析与文化批评的研究方法深入剖析小说中叙述声音与视角转换的关系,发现这部小说女主人公的女性主体意识是通过他者的多重叙述声音而折射出来的。由此阐发的女性声音在自我与他者、喜悦与虚无、声音与沉默之间穿梭,不仅体现出具有自省性的女性主体意识,也恰如其分地释放了后殖民文化先声以及女性文学能量。
In After Leaving Mr. Mackenzie, Jean Rhys tries to let her heroine end the state of “between Dog and Wolf” and transform “from dog to wolf”. This paper takes this novel as an example and explains the realistic proposition that Nora had to face after her leave-takings, thus analyzes women’s subject consciousness thoroughly. Moreover, the paper interprets the relationship of narrative voices and the transformation of perspective by close reading, psychoanalysis, and cultural criticism in this novel. It turns out that the heroine’s subject consciousness is refracted by the voice of other persons’ multiple narrations. Such a feminist voice not only shows a reflexive female consciousness of the subject, but also releases post-colonial voices and the energy of Female Literature.
