Research on Driving Factors,Obstacles and Directions of Sustainable Development of Institutional Repositories

[目的/意义]全面掌握目前机构知识库的发展状况,为国内机构知识库的发展提供理论支持和参考。[方法/过程]通过网络调查和文献研究法探究机构知识库可持续发展的驱动因素、障碍及方向。[结果/结论]科学发展的内在需求、国际组织和国家机构的开放获取政策以及技术的发展是机构知识库发展的主要驱动因素;但缺乏学术报酬激励机制、资金支持和保障、开放获取意识与技能、知识产权保护机制等阻碍了机构知识库的发展;在驱动因素和障碍并存的情况下,拓展服务内容、寻求联盟化发展、转变服务模式是促进机构知识库可持续发展的重要机制。

[Purpose/significance]Fully grasp the current development of institutional repositories,and provide theoretical support and reference for the development of domestic institutional repositories.[Methods/process]Investigate the driving factors,obstacles and development direction of institutional repository through network survey and literature research.[Results/conclusion]The inherent needs of scientific development,the open access policies of international organizations and national institutions,and the development of technology are the main drivers of institutional repositories development.However,the lack of academic reward incentives,financial support and guarantees,open access awareness and skills,and intellectual property protection mechanisms and so on has hindered the development of institutional repositories.With the coexistence of driving factors and obstacles,expanding service content,seeking alliance development,and transforming service models are important mechanisms for promoting the sustainable development of institutional repositories.
