小镇特色发掘的五个维度解析——以湖州妙西镇为例

Five-dimensional Analysis of the Exploitation of Town Characteristics: Taking Huzhou Miaoxi Town as an Example

小镇的特色建设之路始于对小镇特色的发掘与解读,对特色理解上的偏差和矮化容易导致小镇规划设计的生硬堆砌和邯郸学步等误区。然而,设计师如何在规划设计之初针对这一重要命题开展工作,一直以来流于“意会”,难于“言传”。本文从小镇特色的功能特色、产业特色、结构特色、载体特色和模式特色五大维度层层递进,就每一维度的思考要素和工作要点进行阐述,并将五维度对应于规划设计的五个基本环节,具有层次分明且操作性较强的特点,旨在为广大规划师在进行小镇特色发掘工作时提供一条切实可依循的参考路径。同时,本文以浙江省湖州市妙西镇规划设计实践为例,对前述特色发掘的五个维度进行了论证,展示了以此工作方法呈现出丰富的小镇设计特色。

The road of characteristic construction of small towns begins with the excavation and interpretation of the characteristics of small towns. The deviation and dwarfing of the understanding of characteristics easily lead to misunderstandings in planning and design of small towns. However, when planners and designers work on this significant proposition at the beginning of planning and design, it has always been a matter of "understanding" and difficult to "preach". Summarizing as five dimensions of function, industry, structure, carrier and mode characteristics, this article elaborates the possible elements and working points of each dimension, and corresponds the five dimensions to the five basic links of planning and design, which might be a practical reference path for planners and designers to follow. Taking the author's planning and design practice in Miaoxi Town of Huzhou as an example, this paper demonstrates the application process of five-dimensional method in this project, and shows the rich design features presented by this method.
