A computer virus is a set of computer instructions or program codes inserted by an attacker to destroy computer functions or data. In recent years, with the increasing number of computer viruses, the change of transmission media and the wide application of the Internet, the objects infected by computer viruses have changed, and the virus type has also changed from file type to network worm type. Based on this, this paper mainly introduces the concept, characteristics, transmission routes, virus defense technology and strategy of computer viruses, to help readers to further familiarize themselves with the harm of computer viruses, and to enhance the awareness of security defense.
