人民政协自成立至今,团结和民主一直就是人民政协的奋斗方向和初心使命,两大主题是人民政协性质的集中体现,也是人民政协产生和发展的历史根据。双向发力就是实现团结和民主两大主题的实践途径,也必将成为新时代人民政协工作的新使命新特征。面向新时代,人民政协必须把建言资政和凝聚共识全面贯穿于全部工作之中,同心建言资政,以协商民主凝聚强大正能量,同向凝聚共识,以大团结大联合画出最大同心圆。

Since the establishment of the CPPCC, unity and democracy have always been the struggle direction and initial mission of the CPPCC. The two major themes are the concentrated reflection of the nature of the CPPCC and the historical basis for its emergence and development. Bi-directional development is the practical way to realize the two major themes, and it will also become the new mission and new characteristics of the CPPCC work in the new era. Faced with the new era, the CPPCC must put forward advice on administration and building consensus throughout all its work, and draw the greaexperimental concentric circle through great solidarity and unity.
