摘要
本文基于2001 2015年省级面板数据,利用超越对数的随机前沿模型分析研究了我国六大经济区域的全要素生产率及其组成部分。研究结果显示我国地区技术水平自2008年以来出现了较大幅度下滑,近4年各区域全要素生产率普遍出现负增长,实体经济的技术基本面在恶化,应当引起注意。经过对技术效率和技术进步的测算,发现各区域技术效率负增长速度逐年减少,说明各地区生产效率趋于改善;技术进步率持续下降且幅度较大,很可能是全要素生产率负增长的主要原因。通过对地区技术创新与技术发展之间的联系进行探索性实证研究,发现研发投入和创新产出可以显著提高各地区的技术效率和技术进步率,因此我国应该加大对研发活动的支持力度,鼓励创新创业活动,从而为地区经济发展奠定良好的技术基础。
This paper estimates total factor of productivity(TFP)and components in Chinese six economic regions using translog stochastic frontier model with province-level panel data from 2001 to 2015.Estimation results show that regional TFP have been falling since 2008,implying that fundamental conditions of real economy are worsen in recent years.We also find that regional production activities have been more efficient since negative growth rate of technical efficiency have been reduced in fourteen years;but technical growth rate have fallen drastically,that leads to negative growth in TFP.Further empirical research finds that R&D investment and innovation outputs can significantly improve regional technical efficiency and technical progress.So,China should increase support to R&D,encourage innovation activities,and that will establish a good base for long run regional economic development.
