看不见的父母与理想化的亲情:农村留守儿童亲子沟通与关系维护研究

Invisible Parents and Idealized Affection: A Study on Parent-Child Communication and Relationship Maintenance of Rural Left-behind Children

良好的亲子沟通和关系维护不仅有助于儿童的成长,解决社会适应过程中的种种不适,还有助于家庭功能的正常发挥。在我国社会结构急剧转型的背景下,大批留守儿童不得不与他们的生身父母骨肉分离,引发了包括亲子沟通与关系维护在内的各种社会问题。本文通过深度访谈、田野观察等质性研究方法,探讨留守儿童家庭中的父母和孩子如何借由移动媒介进行的远距离沟通和面对面沟通,在日常生活中进行亲子沟通与关系维护。

In the context of the transformation of China’s social structure, over 10 million children living in rural areas are left behind by their parents who have to flee their poor hometowns to find survival opportunities in cities, which triggers a variety of social problems that probably lead to social unrest in the near future. Undoubtedly, functioning parent-child communication and relationship maintenance can not only be of help for children and teenagers to cope with the hardship of social adaptation, but also consolidate family stability. Through in-depth interviews and other qualitative research methods, this article explores how parents and children in families of left-behind children communicate so as to maintain parent-child relationship, and also exemplifies the role that new communication technologies play in the interactions.
