小组合作学习就是以合作学习小组为基本形式,系统利用教学中动态因素之间的互动,促进学生学习,以团体的成绩为评价标准,共同达成教学目标的一种教学活动。英语是一门语言,语言最大的功能就是交际功能,而小组合作学习中学生之间的互动、互助,对学生英语知识、技能、情感素质之间的和谐发展有着重要的促进作用,对学生英语综合能力的培养和提升同样有着重要的促进作用。本文就小组合作学习在初中英语课堂教学中的应用展开论述,旨在进一步提升英语课堂教学的有效性,并提升学生的英语水平。

group cooperative learning is a kind of teaching activity that takes cooperative learning group as the basic form,systematically USES the interaction between dynamic factors in teaching to promote students'learning,and takes group performance as the evaluation standard to achieve teaching objectives.English is a language,and the most important function of language is communication.The interaction and mutual assistance among middle school students in group learning play an important role in promoting the harmonious development of students'English knowledge,skills and emotional quality,as well as the cultivation and improvement of students'comprehensive English ability.This paper discusses the application of group learning in English classroom teaching in junior middle school,aiming at improving the effectiveness of English classroom teaching and improving students'English level.
